Our Judicial "System"

Yesterday morning I woke up at 7:55 and my court date was at 8:30 in SCARY-etta, got dressed and ready in 10 minutes, (took a mexican shower - you know, deoderant and a plethora of girly smell aka perfume, body spray, etc... or febreeze or hairspray, anything that will kill the smell of smoke that gets trapped in my 8 lb. nest of brunette locks [hair] after a night of drinking and debauchery..) about 2 minutes after I left, I realized I left my ticket at home, however, since I was already running a bit late and due to traffic headed back to the house, I decided I didn't REALLY need it anyways) got to the square with about 10 minutes to park and get to court, proceeded to go the WRONG way down a one-way street to get to some free parking I spotted - (keep in mind, I haven't really woken up yet or had coffee) walked expediently to the state court house, ONLY find out that I am actually in the WRONG court house - I need to be in the Marietta Municipal Court one 3 block away - so there I am running in the rain in my heels and a skirt, like I'm on a morning jog, still half asleep and still a little bit drunk - ONLY to get to the right court house, and as I'm going thru security, the nice old security guard tells me I can't bring my cell phone in, even if it's off, I have to put it back in my car, which is now about 5 -6 blocks away and it is 8:45....
SO...
I take my heels off and RUN, Zola Budd style back to my car, in the rain, and proceed to drive it back to the right court house...go back thru security....into the court room....and WAIT......for 4 FREAKING hours until I get my shit taken care of....

WHY do they make you suffer so? Is it just so you'll pay the stupid ticket instead of coming to court?

While I was in there, some guy got in trouble for sleeping while waiting and then the same guy got a ticket for having his cell phone on and in the court room - HOW did he get his cell phone in I wonder? They also took it away from him and told him it was being held for "evidence"

HA!

At least I'm not that guy!
